WHy does this chi flat iron mascara have to be so smudgey. When you first apply this you get an instant lift. This really lenghtens and darkens lashes without clumping. I like that this is a mascara that thickens too, you really notice your lashes with this mascara. Down side with this is that after several hours, it smudges under my eyes giving me raccoon eyes. Makes me look tired and runny makeup! Retails for $9.50 but i will not repurchase since i cant wear this all day. Maybe good if you are only wearing it for a couple hours! i’ve been using this chi flat iron Mascara for a week now, so i could fairly judge the performance of this product. the verdict: um, not chi hair straightener’s brightest star but still okay. there’s nothing wrong with it necessarily, but i expected a little more “oomph” for the ten dollars i spent.(i’m used to spending $2.50 on ‘great lash’. what can i say, i’m cheap and easy when it comes to mascara–i’d rather pay the extra $ for e/s!) i am almost always totally satisfied with whatever comes home with me in that little black bag, but i only have lukewarm feelings for this because it’s a lot like great lash — not much thickening or volume, but enough color and length to make the lashes noticeable. some reviews said that ‘pro lash’ flaked and smudged, but i have to disagree.
